The ChowderMobile had a great day on Wednesday, as we met a group of 50 veterans at the American Legion, who had just finished going out on a fishing excursion arranged by the Purple Heart Angler's Association. Word is they caught a ton! They were ready for lots of Fish and Chips, Fish Tacos and Chowdah!

Our Maiden Voyage!
Sam's ChowderMobile hit the road at "Cobbstock", in Cobb, California (Lake County) -- kind of like a mini-Woodstock! It was an all day rock 'n' roll music festival featuring 7 bands, plus special guests. Everyone brought lawn chairs and blankets to relax on the grass while listening to clasic rock, jazz, alternative and blues of various eras. And yes, yours truly was parked there and served several hundred people - yowza!
Here is the amazing team of Juan (Chowdermobile Manager), Mely (Assistant Manager) and Hugo (Cook) ready for action.

Sam's ChowderMobile -- Getting Ready!
The ChowderMobile has been painted an awesome color of Lobster RED, and the kitchen is now totally outfitted. We are waiting for the paint to finish "curing" so the final graphics can be applied, so this is the temporary look for now. The inside is incredible - with a custom-equipped top-of-the-line kitchen on wheels, with a grill, several burners, and two separate fryers – one for Fish and Chips and one for Fries.
